New peeps:
We all know how much the stock headlights (lets
just be honest here) suck out loud. After countless hours of near blind
drives after sunset...it was time to address the problem. I had no idea as
to the direction to follow. After many long nights of surfing the web
researching my options, I came across a post on the Pantera International
BBS from a young lad. I started
an exchange of emails and come to find out his father owns a body shop in
the bay area and he has been working within the fabrication arena for 9
years. Oh yeah, I forgot to
mention Larry like 19 years old - owner of an very successful aftermarket RC
company - works with titanium, carbon fiber and many other mediums.
Larry agreed to come to my home and help me "in seeing the light" so to
speak. His plan was to remove the headlight buckets and take them back to
his fathers shop. He made all of the modifications to the stock parts and
mounted the new components in their new home. The HIDs are from a Honda
S2000. He created a carbon fiber mount plate for the new system and mounted
the HID control unit on the now hidden lower portion of the modified
buckets. of the After removal of the stock headlight buckets they
left my garage in the hands of the master.
Larry is relocating the limit switch to keep the modified bucket from rising
to the stock height. Here is a shot of the passenger side completed. The
light now raises only 4 inches. Not only is the bug eye look removed...I can
see the road ahead! This is (as corny as it sounds) like comparing night and
day.

When was the last time you clicked on the headlights and could signal the
space shuttle. The HIDs also have the dip on the drivers side to avoid
blinding the oncoming traffic.
